Fundraising:

With a decade of experience, I have raised millions for organizations across the country. Particular topics of expertise include:

• Grants management. Full-cycle support from setting up a calendar and tracking documents, through training on relationship management, to writing, editing, and creating a boilerplate for future use

• Major donor development and cultivation, from prospect identification through solicitation and into ongoing stewardship

• Annual fund/individual donor development (including monthly giving, planned giving, special events, and small-dollar campaigns)

• Board of Directors: engagement and fundraising training, coaching towards a culture of philanthropy

• Fundraising staff and team coaching

I understand the “do more with less” attitude many organizations have (particularly in their development departments) and have particular expertise with departments with fewer than 4 staff.

Nonprofit Management & Coaching:

About me

I started consulting because I love helping nonprofits raise more funds, leaders be more effective, and writers be more clear. I feel I can make a bigger impact in the world by working with multiple organizations, who in turn serve thousands of people.

My 15-year nonprofit management career includes positions at the Philharmonia Orchestra (London), the Design Museum (London), and the Harry Potter Alliance (US). Most recently I was the Development Director for Tandem, Partners in Early Learning (Bay Area), and helped lead the organization through a time of expansion, a re-branding process, and raised funds to double the annual budget.
